Web Access to Your Data

You can use our Secure Web Dashboard to access your backup data remotely from any web browser when your using Disk Hero's Business Account. This means you no longer need to lug your laptop home for the weekend just to work on your files. You can use your home computer to log into you secure Disk Hero™ account using a web browser. Simply download your file and work from anywhere. Or elect to have use the Disk Hero File Distribution option. When finished with your file - load it back up to a different secure area so when your back in your office you can pull over the new file.

Web File and Folder Sharing

You also have the ability to share selected files or folders with colleagues and friends when your using Disk Hero's Business Account. You can mark individual files or entire folders as sharable from your web Dashboard. You can then assign a unique password to each file or folder share. Giving colleagues access to individual files which does not mean they have access to the other files in your Disk Hero™ account. They can only see the files you have shared with them. You can can share the files at any time or put a time limit on access to the file - very flexible to meet your needs. Once shared, you can email secure links to your files to others. The other person simply clicks on a Web Link in the email and logs in to download the file. Using this feature, you can easily share large file attachments with people who have very limited e-mail in box space.

Your shared file once downloaded by colleague or client can be modified, changed and saved back up into a separate holding are awaiting your review of changes. You can then save the file into your area on your PC/network hard drive. This is an easy way to have remote workers accessing files securely and they send back the files for review - great application for use with remote work forces and remote bookkeepers who do not need to drive into the office ever time to get a CD backup copy.
