If Disk Hero does not work because of permissions

Some windows systems you will have to do this process to get Disk Hero to function.

You might have to also follow these instructions (point 1-7) to allow correct permission rights to Disk Hero, Remote Backup Service or Cloud Hero folders:

Point 1:  open MY COMPUTER and go to c:/program files and find the DISK HERO, REMOTE BACKUP SERVICE or CLOUD HERO folder.

Point 2:  Right click on the folder and go to PROPERTIES

Point 3:  Go to the SECURITY TAB

Point 4:  SELECT YOUR USER NAME - the name you use when you LOG INTO windows at start-up and press on EDIT button.

Point 5:  Press on your sign in account name and look below at item 6 box.

Point 7:  All the check boxes need to be checked for Disk Hero, Remote Backup Service or Cloud Hero to work correctly.  Once all boxes are checked hit APPLY and then OK

You can restart Disk Hero, Remote Backup Service or Cloud Hero to get the settings to take effect.  In some rare cases your system might have to be reboot (re-start the PC) for these effects to take effect.

E-mail support@diskhero.com or support@cloudhero.com if you have any questions or any further issues.
