Definition:
Send a copy of file changes between your multiple computers including external drives so you always have a current file copied to a 2nd or 3rd PC no matter which of your systems your using - home PC, office PC, Laptop or mobile external devices. This means if a USB drive is lost or a laptop stolen you always have a full copy of your data at Disk Hero and on your 2nd PC.

Executive Overview:
Disk Hero Carbon Copy is an automated Carbon Copy program to keep your data on multiple computers up-to-date with the latest current file information. You modify a file on your main PC and all your other target PCs are automatically updated with this recently changed file. A full copy of the main PC back up files are sent over to the target system(s) so full data duplication is realized. For example: This page you are reading is revised and becomes a changed file. This file is sent to Disk Hero's backup servers. Carbon Copy then says it is to send this new copy to 3 other computers and the Carbon Copy is complete. On the target systems you can read the files and do what you like with them but they are not sent back to the originating PC as a modified or updated file. You can set up the 2nd PC to do Carbon Copy with the first PC so both PCs are sending files back and forth making full data copies of each other. Make sure each PC has enough hard drive space.

TYPICAL USE EXAMPLE: You have a Home PC, laptop and office PC:

You modify an Excel file on Sunday night on your home PC. There is no need to email it to your-self. Carbon Copy occurs when you turn on your office PC Monday morning. Open the excel file and modify it and save it to your office PC hard drive. You would set up your office PC to do Carbon Copy with your home PC and all files are cloned on the home PC.
Disk Hero encrypts the file, backs it up and distributes it to the designated PC pre-set distribution list which is easy to set-up. Remember that each system you set up to do Carbon Copy will send a full copy of its backed up data to the 2nd PC. You can set up more then one target PC to receive files.
